My post on the July 7th anniversary has been linked to by Slate, which is very flattering. Shame they made a few mistakes. The quotes are accurate but they call me:

yes, he gets the order of causation wrong. Getting a poor education means that you are probably going to be poor. Being poor does not mean that you have to settle for a poor education.
